My 59-year-old patient had not had a Pap smear to screen for cervical cancer in over 10 years because of trauma and pain during prior pelvic exams. We were able to use the Pelvic Cradle to do the exam and collect her Pap smear. Afterwards, she cried because the exam was so easy and painless. This device should be the standard of care.
