An innovative solution for prone positioning.

The BoneFoam Universal Prone Positioning System is designed to address the critical need for abdominal decompression while also accommodating urinary catheters and IV lines. In addition, it provides openings for breast tissue and genitalia to help reduce pressure-related injuries.

Helps reduce patient positioning risks.

Current positioning methods that utilize towels, rolls, and tape do not address specific prone positioning needs in a way that optimize patient safety and clinical efficiency.

With prone positioning care must be taken to avoid risks to the patient that include reduced cardiac index; increased inferior vena caval pressures; changes in lung capacity and volumes; diaphragmatic splinting; spine alignment; peripheral nerve injuries; pressure injuries to skin, nerves, breast, and genitalia; and limited access to lines and tubes.

Innovative two-piece design. Available in three sizes.

Two-piece design accommodates table breaks enabling intraoperative adjustments to hip flexion and lower lumbar curvature. Wide chest cavity comfortably positions the breasts, genitalia, and arms. Available in three sizes: small, regular, and the all-new large.

Simple by design. Designed with physicians.

The BoneFoam Universal Prone Positioning System was designed with physicians to help provide a standardized approach for safe and secure prone patient positioning every time.

Premium quality coating makes all the difference.

  • Seamless, fluid-proof coating for superior infection control and easy cleaning
  • Durable dual-layer coating resists wear better than thin single-coat options
  • Radiolucent design remains free of indistinguishable imaging artifacts
  • Non-gel construction avoids risks of sticking or oozing onto skin
