A stabilization innovation like no other. The BoneFoam Shark is designed to position the arms and stabilize the torso in the lateral position. The unique design provides a soft yet stable buttress against the anterior shoulder to prevent patients from rolling forward, and provides better access to anesthesia leads throughout the case. In addition, the two-piece Shark allows for the patient to be intubated in the supine position and then rolled into the lateral position, placing the upper arm onto the memory foam top.

Intended Use:
Nonsterile, reusable positioner intended to support and stabilize the arms and block the torso from rolling anteriorly in the lateral position.

Indications:
Indicated for use by healthcare professionals to position the patient’s arms and torso on a standard armboard during medical procedures not involving the arms.

The two-piece design allows for the patient to be intubated in the supine position and then rolled into the lateral position placing the upper arm onto the memory foam top. This is to protect the neurovascular bundles of the shoulder while maintaining access to the down arm.
